Leadership

Pastors & Staff

bob searl

Senior Pastor

Bob has been giddily married to his girlfriend, Debbie, for 43 years. They have two children and two adorable granddaughters, and their over-indulged Morkie bearing the name Izzy manages the home. Because he is a native Wisconsinite, Bob is also a cheese-loving, insufferable Packer fan who is quick to say, “If the Packers play at noon and the sermon seems a little shorter, its only a coincidence.” He plays the guitar, loves the theater and movies, and owns more books than he has read. Bob has served churches in Missouri, Wisconsin, Florida, and Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a BA in Church Music, and earned an M.Div and D.Min from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City.

kristin mCatee

Associate Pastor

Kristin is a native Oklahoman and a graduate of California State University, Long Beach and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. She has served churches in California and in Oklahoma in nearly every area of church life, including music, youth, children, and administration. Her passion is connecting people to God and to one another. Her desire is that everyone might know the love of God and the relationship to God that changes lives.
Kristin and Brian live in Midwest City with their daughter, Danielle. They share life with Sophie the dog and a few feral cats. Kristin loves to garden, stay active, and to take every possible chance to read and drink tea. Kristin’s all-time favorite TV show is Bonanza. She loves all music, but Broadway musicals are a special favorite. Her kryptonite is dark chocolate.

jeannie jones

Children's Pastor and Director of Mother's Day Out

Jeannie is pretty awesome because she has loved and nurtured several generations here at Spring Creek. Her love of coffee has come in handy!

cheryl tarter

Minister of Music

Cheryl is a native of Guthrie, Oklahoma and has been at Spring Creek for 3 years. She enjoys working with an incredible staff and church community. Walking in the early morning and reading are some of her favorite things to do. She is blessed to share life with her daughter, Linh, and dog Cadie.

megan griffith

Interim Youth Minister

Hi! I’m Megan Griffith. I’m married to Clint (fun fact: we met through the Army while at basic training), and we have four children between us— Connor (21), Sunny (16), Myles (10), and Mack (8). Life right now consists mainly of attending school activities, sports events, and going to church. I currently work at the Oklahoma State Department of Education in the Office of School Support. I have been an educator for 17 years. I am also a doctoral student at Oklahoma State University in Educational Leadership. I was born and raised in Holdenville, Oklahoma. My dad was a Baptist preacher so to be honest I never saw myself going into ministry. But throughout my spiritual journey and just life in general, ministry is where I keep finding myself, even if it’s not in an official role. For those who want to know more about me— I’m an ENFJ and an Enneagram 3. Lol. That will tell you a lot about me.
